Hissar is different from our other resorts with the great abundance of mineral springs - 16 natural and 6 deep drilling. Water with different temperatures, chemical composition, radioactivity and healing properties.
The biggest proof of the healing power of the water is a museum of kidney stones. Their number is about 12,000, some of the gallstones are removed surgically, and among them is the biggest in Bulgaria - kidney stone weighing 560 grams.
Hissar mineral water is used for:

The mineral water spring "Lily of the Valley" (located in the park next to hotel "C Comfort") is slightly mineralized, containing many trace elements - manganese, cobalt, zinc, copper and others., called. "Metal vitamins." This is the most delicious water of Hisar. Only used for drinking, primarily gastrointestinal diseases. The temperature is 42 degrees. The legend says that a beautiful Bulgarian girl refused to become a concubine of the Turkish Bey. To humiliate her, he forced her to serve his guests naked. The girl obeyed, but standing in front of him, descended the heavy tray of sweets on his head and killed him. For her actions, she was sentenced to burn at the stake. When the flames wrapped her naked body, from her eyes flowed out two warm tears. Source of tears, known as "Lily of the Valley."
Besides the "Lily of the Valley" in the park opposite the hotel in diameter from 200 to 300 meters, are located several springs with different content elements and temperature. Mineral water from a spring "Momina banya" is the highest level of radon - 160 Heman and temperature 47 degrees C, which makes it good for the treatment of urological diseases and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. In the Park "Lily of the Valley" are the remains of the largest Roman baths in the city. It was built in the 4th century. The floor and walls were built of white marble Rhodope.
